Hey, the furnace is working great. Alot of people are stopping to check it out. I have been giving them your website address. My wife and I are completely satisfied with the furnace. Now I don't lay in bed at night and listen to the central heat unit run, and think "there goes the power bill". Before I would turn the thermostat down to 67 and we all had electric blankets, but not anymore. It stays around 73-74 now, and my wife is loving it. I spent an hour or two, here and there sawing firewood while waiting for shipping. I have not put a dent in the wood pile yet. Thanks again, Dustin

 

Scott I recently got my furnace installed and up and running.  Im now ready for colder weather.  I am really impressed with the amount that comes from this unit. Also. I love the way it will shut down, to the point the coals are black and the door even cold and when the blower kicks on it will ignite. I hooked up to the end of trunk lines.

Tips and tricks!

Want longer burn times? Add a layer of 9x4x1 1/4 firebrick to the outside edges of your firebox by standing them on the 1 1/4 side along the edges of the grates. (May drop air temperatures, but WILL increase your burn times and fuel consumption) Call us for assistance.

When  loading your Wadena furnace, fill the front of the firebox to promote a less intense fire, therefore making your fuel last longer and promoting a cleaner burn.

 If you are burning in warmer weather, open the windows and work the furnace. It is better to keep the fire hot  and maintain a cleaner burn and less chimney cleaning.

If you are getting a creosote drip from your chimney cap onto your furnace. Use a small amount of pine-sol, let it sit for a few minutes and wipe clean with an old cloth or rag.

 

Using a creosote treatment will extend the life of your furnace, but will also help with cleaner burning and a safer, cleaner chimney. There are many types incuding logs, sprays, shots, and powder.
